Scottsdale facial plastic surgeon Dr. David Hecht was born and raised in New York. He attended the College of William and Mary in Virginia where he graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society. He returned to New York City and received his medical degree at New York University School of Medicine. After medical school, he completed internship in General Surgery and residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. During residency, Dr. Hecht scored the highest in the nation on the annual in-service training examination.
